BIOGRAPHY
K. C. Pandey, full name is Krishna Chandra Pandey was born in Gonda city, State: Uttar Pradesh, India on 31st May 1960. His father was police officer and that time he was posted there. He completed his college in science and then joined Indian Navy at the age of 17. He completed his training in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Aeronautics. His elder brother Mr. R. C. Pandey, who is a chemist and also a mineral dealer, introduced him with the zeolites at the age of 16. Mr.
Pandey often refers his hobbies as his teen-age love. After successful completion of his services to Indian Naval aviation, he took an early retirement in December 1993. He became full fledge mineral dealer in 1994 by participating in Tucson Gem and Mineral show in February 1994. It is also necessary to mention that he pursued his hobby on the basis of day to day, right from the age of 16, whenever he has time and money. In the mineral World he established a company Superb Minerals India Pvt. Ltd. has big name and fame. Mr. Pandey has also made first Natural History Museum of India portraying the Indian minerals specially zeolites along with the World Wide collection. The theme of his collection is aesthetic beauty in the minerals and their vividity. The museum houses the collection of US$ 5 million and the monumental building with the interior has cost of US$ 1.25 million. This is one of the best collection of the zeolite in the World. Mr. Pandey is blessed one daughter and two sons. The daughter has just graduated in law (2006). He has two sons. They are pursuing their career in commerce and foreign trade respectively. They will be graduating in 2007 and 2008. It is also very important to mention the role of his younger brother Mr. Ramesh Chandra Pandey, who has worked with him as a shadow, seen and unseen every second and hour, building the empire worth US$ 25 million today. They hold one of the largest collection and inventory in the zeolites. Recently their inventory has been appraised ,worth US$ 21451500.00 by Argentum Auctioneers & Appraisers, Inc. USA And it has been put on the record. K. C. Pandey has also contested for the Indian parliament, which is called LOKSABHA in 1998. He is also a trustee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan, Shirdi, which is second biggest spiritual trust of India, which is visited by 15 million people annually, distributed evenly through out of the year. He has also procured 09 acres of land for a million dollar to bring out his dream project of “GARGOTI”, which is the project of 25 million dollar. This project will portray the Indian culture, heritage, it’s ancient way of life like Yoga, Meditation, Ayurvedas along with fine display of Global minerals and a vegetarian dinosaur. With this introduction, we would to like to contribute to the Nation exploring the Natural resources of India and bringing them globally for the growth of national economy and treasures.
